Parade Rules

Boat Owners and Captains that participate in parade must follow these rules.
  • Parade vessel must be built 25 years before the current year (for this year, all vessels built by 1999, and all Contemporary boats that are replicas of vessels built more than 25 years ago.
  • Parade vessels are required to register by June 30, 2024.
  • All registered vessels will be assigned a number that determines the sequential order of position in the parade, starting from #1 through the last registered vessel. Assigned numbers will be published by July 1st  and made available on this ACHS Boat Parade Website.
  • Captains will display assigned number on portside front windshield (or in a manner that spectators can see displayed number on the approaching vessel). Number should be at least 4” tall and readable from 50 feet away.  Suggest using a disposable cardboard pie plate as the display media.
  • Parade Vessels are to be ready at the Pearl Beach Pier and proceed in order of assigned number at 10:00 am.
  • Please stay in line according to your assigned number and at a distance of 100 feet behind the vessel that precedes you.
  • Should you approach one of the three ferry routes when a ferry crosses, please hold back and resume slowly to eventually maintain the 100 ft  distance once the ferry has safely passed.
